AFTER SALES CARE
Regular servicing is key to ensuring your electric bike stays in peak condition. At Glide & Gear, we have partnered with Cycle Tech UK to provide servicing and maintenance services right to your doorstep.
While your e-bike arrives nearly assembled and having completed a Pre-Delivery Inspection, you can opt to use Cycle Tech UK to conduct the assembly for you, ensuring everything is in order. You'll have the technician walk you through your new bike, providing valuable insight into its workings.
Initial 30-Day Service
At Glide & Gear, we strongly recommend you get your e-bike serviced in the first 30 days from purchase. Engage with skilled mechanics for a comprehensive overview of your e-bike's maintenance needs. Learn proper gear usage, battery charging techniques, and essential tips for upkeep.
From then, we recommend you refer to your bike's owner's manual for recommended servicing intervals, typically every 1000 kilometers or 600 miles.
Nationwide Mobile Bike Servicing
We offer nationwide mobile bike servicing, repairs, and maintenance services through our partners Cycle Tech UK. From flat tires to complex repairs, rely on our network of qualified mechanics to keep your e-bike in top condition. *Only Applicable for EAPC compliant road legal bikes with motors of 250W or less.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
ORDER CONFIRMATION PROCESS:
Upon placing your order with Glide & Gear, we will initially authorise your payment method, but rest assured, your card will not be charged immediately. Our team will then verify the availability of the product you've selected with our suppliers. Should the product be ready for immediate shipment, we will proceed with charging your card and your order will be on its way to you. In the event of any delays, such as an item being on backorder, we will cancel the pre-authorisation and notify you of the situation.
SHIPPING YOUR ORDER
After your order is confirmed and in stock, we will process your payment and ensure your order is dispatched within 5 business days. You will receive an email containing your tracking information within 48 hours of your order leaving our warehouse. If tracking details have not been received within 6 business days, please contact our customer support team at info@glideandgear.co.uk for assistance. Delivery schedules may vary based on the specific brand of the product ordered.

INSPECTING YOUR DELIVERY:
We encourage you to carefully inspect your delivery upon arrival. If you notice any damage, we recommend refusing the delivery of the damaged item(s). Should damage be discovered post-delivery, please send clear photographs of the damage to info@glideandgear.co.uk, allowing us to initiate an insurance claim on your behalf.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS POLICY:
Should you decide to cancel your order more than 24 hours after placement, be aware that additional charges may apply. For orders that have already been dispatched, the buyer is responsible for any costs incurred in returning the product. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for the order.
