Cycle to Work Scheme Terms & Conditions

At Glide & Gear, we proudly support the UK’s Cycle to Work initiatives, giving riders an affordable way to access quality commuter and electric bikes through salary sacrifice schemes. To ensure full transparency, please review the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with a Cycle to Work purchase.

Eligibility:

• The Cycle to Work scheme can only be used on eligible bicycles and accessories compliant with UK government guidelines.
• E-bikes must conform to EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) regulations to qualify under the scheme. Bikes that exceed the EAPC classification are not eligible.
• The scheme is open to employees whose employer is registered with an approved Cycle to Work provider. We currently accept vouchers from recognised UK schemes.

Orders and Availability:

• All Cycle to Work orders are subject to product availability at the time of voucher redemption.
• Orders will only be processed once the signed hire agreement and valid certificate or voucher have been received and verified by our team.
• Due to our dispatch process, bicycles purchased through a Cycle to Work scheme cannot be cancelled or returned once assembled by the customer.

Pricing and Promotions:

• The Best Price Guarantee does not apply to Cycle to Work scheme purchases.
• Product discounts, promotional codes, seasonal sales, or bundle offers cannot be applied to any Cycle to Work transaction.
• The final order value will be based on the original product price at the time of quotation and voucher issuance, excluding any temporary promotional discounts.

Servicing and Maintenance:

• Glide & Gear is an online-only retailer and does not offer any free servicing, maintenance, or in-person bike fitting as part of a Cycle to Work order.
• Riders are fully responsible for the ongoing maintenance, safe storage, and care of their bike post-purchase.
• While we are happy to offer advice and product recommendations, servicing must be arranged independently by the customer.

Amendments:

• Glide & Gear reserves the right to amend or update these Cycle to Work Terms & Conditions at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
• Any changes will be published on our website and will apply to all orders placed thereafter.
